Looking for third housemate for lovely 1000 sq foot unfurnished 3-bedroom/2-bath house in Freshwater, only a 12-minute drive from campus.

The room available to rent is 10x10 and has a closet and window overlooking the private yard. It shares a bathroom with one other housemate (female). The bathroom is newly renovated and has a full tub. The house has a great kitchen space with an open floor plan, a living room, small laundry room, and a very large, sunny yard. There is also a covered front porch and a shed storage space in the yard.

The rent for the room is $600 per month and the security deposit is $650. Water and sewage cost is included in the rent but other utilities are not. It is a 1-year lease starting September 1st (but I am open to those wanting to join the lease as late as October). No pets or smoking of any kind allowed inside the house.

The house is in the Creekside Arts community which is a lovely, friendly, arts-centered neighborhood. Very peaceful, sunny, and idyllic. The area is extremely quiet, safe, nature-filled, and peaceful and only 12 minutes from Arcata or Eureka. There are always lots of arts and social events hosted by Creekside Arts and the neighbors are extremely warm and welcoming.

I’m 25 (female) and work as a high school English teacher in Arcata. I love my job and enjoy hanging out, reading, cooking, spending time in nature, watching movies, and just chatting with friends in my free time. Excited to find like-minded housemates and create a fun and peaceful living space. Femmes in their mid-20s to early 30s preferred.
